West Roxbury Park Place Condo Fire

Early in the morning on Saturday May 12th, tragedy struck Park Place Condominiums at 1214 VFW Parkway as a 6-alarm fire roared through a residential building and destroyed everything in it.  The fire also damaged part of the neighboring building but was contained from spreading .  Thankfully everyone who lived in the building made it out safe.  

The building is uninhabitable and residents expect to be displaced from their homes for a year or upwards until they rebuild.  Some residents also lost their vehicles in the fire due to their proximity of the building.

I am also a resident in the complex and along with many other unaffected residents  we are setting up this fundraiser to help cover the cost of the 1214 VFW Parkway owner's month to month expenses such as their mortgage, monthly bills and replacing essentials like clothing & personal items as they get back on their feet.  All money raised will be evenly distributed amongst the 12 unit owners.
