Paris's Journey: Completing my Undergrad Degree

My name is Paris Hogan, and I am a committed honors student at Wayne State University, working hard to complete my degree. I am passionate about my studies and actively serve my local church and community. This is my second time pursuing a college degree, after my first attempt was unfortunately set back by miseducation and poor advising. Despite those challenges, I stayed focused and returned to school determined to succeed.

Currently, I work full-time at Henry Ford Health System, gaining valuable experience as I pursue my goal of becoming a healthcare administrator. While I am grateful for this opportunity, my current income isn’t enough to cover my school expenses, which has made managing my finances extremely difficult.

Adding to this struggle, I lost a previous job that caused a significant financial burden, leaving me with outstanding balances that I cannot pay off on my own. I have exhausted every option available, applying for financial aid and scholarships, but those funds will only be applied once I am able to reduce my current balance.

Because of these circumstances, I now face the very real risk of homelessness for the first time in my life. This crowdfunding campaign is my last hope to raise the funds I need to bring my balance down, continue my education, and maintain stable housing.
