Parish Coffee Wage Fundraiser

Greetings, and welcome to the very beginnings of Parish Coffee!

A BIT ABOUT US

Parish Coffee is a brand new small business startup in Calgary, AB. We’re also a mobile social enterprise providing employment for women experiencing work barriers (i.e. low-income single moms, women exiting sex trafficking, recovering from addictions, leaving prison, and more). We’ve got a big heart to impact our city through community-centred business practices and tasty coffee!

‘PARISH’?

Historically, a 'Parish' is a group of people that was under the care of a specific priest. The city of Calgary is the 'Parish' we seek to pour into and build relationships with through coffee and connection!

FUNDRAISING

As a new start up it’s essential for us to raise subsidized wages for the women joining our team. We’ve already done a barista training course with a group of women and it was amazing! We will offer another training session in the new year. Our hope is to be in an excellent financial position to hire a few women ahead of the start of our busy spring/summer season.
