In aid of Surf2Heal, Co. Cork.

To all our family, friends, relatives, work colleagues, and everyone that knows us - this is actually not a holiday, honestly! We are cycling halfway across France and its for a great cause and we need your help.

Surf2Heal is Ireland's first surf camp for kids with Autism and is entirely funded by donations generated through fundraising efforts of the volunteers who organize the camp. Each year many children with ASD have the opportunity to participate in this wonderful week of fun filled activity. The benefits to the children are far-reaching, providing them with skills that serve them well for the rest of their lives such as building social skills, confidence, communication, spacial awareness, emotional empowerment and an overall sense of accomplishment in mastering an activity that might have seemed beyond their capabilities. But most of all, it’s just fun!

These surf camps are achieved by the use of specialist equipment and trained surf crews who generously give up their time to co-ordinate and train as well as participatein the camps, year in year out ...for free. 

We are training hard to complete this very long cycle, and every time the going gets tough, we think of these children and their parents, and the worries and stresses that they face every single day and we just push on because this is the whole reason why everyone is cycling in Paris2Nice..to help "lift & support" those who need it.

Please do help us meet our commitment to Surf2Heal. We are paying our own way (flights, accomodation & registration fees). Every penny raised goes directly to Surf2Heal and is spent on the children's needs.
