Thank you for visiting our Go Fund Me page. My husband and I are raising money for the people directly effected by the eruption of  La Soufriere volcano which took place on April 9th, 2021 on the small caribbean island of St.Vincent where my husband lived and where his immediate family still lives. ANYTHING HELPS! EVEN $1

I got the chance to visit the beautiful island last year and I am devastated at the state the eruption has left it. The eruptions are expected to continue and news on La Soufriere is developing daily.

Approximately 20,000 people have had to be evacuated from their homes, which includes many babies and children. Evacuated families are now living in shelters which lack safe drinking water because of the volcanic ash that has gathered in water supplies. Many people had to leave behind property and essential everyday living items that we unconsciously take for granted daily. This devastating act of nature along with the already on going pandemic of COVID-19 makes conditions for these residents even more dangerous.

The money raised from this go fund me will go to providing essential items for families that have been displaced during this disaster. We personally will be matching every dollar that is donated on this campaign to insure as many people are helped as possible!

Some necessary items we plan to purchase with the donations include but are not limited to: Non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables, meats and
soups. Toiletries, face masks, hygienic essential like toothpaste, soap and deodorant as well as health, safety and first aid kits and items.
