My parents and neices were in a head on collision on July 25th. This has been a difficult time as a family as they are spread apart in different hospitals with multiple different injuries.

My mom has a lot of bruising and pretty bad lacerations across hee torso and they have been monitoring her for internal damage, making sure the severity of the bruising isn't hiding any underlining issues.

My youngest neice (6 almost 7) was the least physically damaged but does have a nice sized seat belt bruise across her torso and a rash from the seat belt on her leg. She was let go from the hospital the same night.

My other niece (9) has not been.as lucky. She has the typical seat belt bruising, and received a rather large gash requiring stitches on her upper leg area. She is also dealing with some mental trauma, asking some very hard questions and letting us know she is still hearing screams and seeing the wreck.

My dad has the seat belt bruising, laceration to his hands, and a fractured sternum. He has PTSD from a previous work related wreck where he was hit on by a utility wreck, and is deeply struggling with this wreck. Its heart breaking to hear him relive what he saw before the car hit them and what transpired after.

All this being said, my dad will not be able to return to work for several months, if at all. He had just started a new job to make their lives better as they were already struggling as many are tonstay a float. Now with this taking away his ability to work, they will be struggling even more.

We understand that everyone is struggling this day and time, however we are reaching out to receive some donations to try and relieve some of financial burden that is to come from this.

Anyone who knows my parents know they would give you the shirts off their backs and their last little bit of food if it was needed. They love deeply and think the best of everyone.

We still ask for prayer for both my parents and the girls. We also ask for prayer for the man that hit them as he is in critical condition. No one harbors any ill will and we genuinely want him to survive and if he doesn't know the Lord to be saved.
