Please help the parents of James Lee Berryman-Dunn

Self-employed new parents desperately need financial help.

James Berryman-Dunn was born by emergency C Section on 11 September 2025 4 weeks early. Tragically he was born with listeria, sepsis and meningitis.

His parents are Jason and Briony and he is their first baby. They are from Penzance. It’s been heart breaking. Both Briony and James have been in separate Intensive care units (ICU) at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. Briony had severe complications after the C section left her in a critical state. Therefore Dad Jason to go between the two whilst dealing with his own shock.

After being told James wasn’t going to make it, they have now been told THERE IS HOPE but this will mean James will be in ICU for at least 2-3 months whilst they give him anti-coagulants to treat his brain clot.

Both Jason and Briony are self employed so they have frightening financial uncertainty at the same time as facing every parents worst nightmare. Jason is a tradesman and Briony is a talented machine embroiderer working for a local company.

They have just bought their first home and desperately need money to pay the mortgage/ travel costs and accommodation whilst they are away from home.

£5000 would allow them peace of mind about money for the next few months whilst James’ literally fights for his life.

Please donate and/or share to support this lovely young family.
