Hello Friends & Family,
This fundraising campaign is an effort to get our beloved Parents' Day Out (PDO) program up and running in their new location at Warrensburg Church of the Brethren. As many of you know, our previous facility at First Presbyterian would not be able to meet fire code without an exorbitant cost to the church and our PDO program. As heartbreaking as it was, we simply couldn't afford the required updates and were unsure if we were going to be able to continue this wonderful program that has blessed so many families in our community for so many years (32 years to be exact)! Ms. Angela and the staff have been working tirelessly to keep the PDO program going (and our children thriving)! This week she met with the Child Care Facility Specialist from the State and received confirmation that we will be able to meet fire and health/safety code at a reasonable cost in the new facility at Church of the Brethren. However, there are many costs involved with moving to a new location and we humbly ask for your help.
Money raised will go towards the following:
-Alarm system (per fire inspection)
-Fence & playground area
-Moving expenses (truck, gas, helpers, etc.)
-Supplies & furniture for the new classrooms
