In 2025, James will joyfully compete in Para surfing with the Surfing England team for his first full year, eager to establish partnerships with companies that can support his training, coaching, and competition expenses. Despite facing the challenges of a quadriplegic spinal cord injury, within just months of starting to surf at a Para surfing event in May 2024, James was proudly selected to represent England at the Para surfing World Championships in November 2024 in California, an incredible achievement just 6 months into his journey as a surfing para athlete! He is excitedly seeking investment to represent Team England, furthering his inspiring Para Surfing career while promoting shared skills, knowledge, and values on the global stage.

James will need to fund all of his travel and costs relating to surfing, practise, competitions, international travel and accommodation, while relying on his part time salary and disability benefits. The amazing generosity of James previous go fund me donors raised a whopping amount so he could compete in California. £4,000 just for one competition, but there are several that James could attend in Europe and world-wide, funds permitting.
