My disabled mother just had her geothermal furnace break down. It can't be repaired according to several vendors, and a new furnace will be $25,000. Other damage was found in her roof as the insurance company (who didn't cover any of the problems) found a huge problem causing mold in her bathroom walls and closet. She is without hot water and heat. She has portable heaters and she comes to my home to shower, but she is paraplegic and it's hard for her to shower (she has her bathroom set up for her disability). She also loves her home and has her dog and doesn't want to bother anyone. She sleeps at my apartment and showers here, but it's hard without the proper equipment.

I am trying to raise the money for a new furnace and the roof/mold repair. I can't get a loan due to my credit card debt and I have a full-time job, but I don't have savings nor anywhere to get the funds. She is on social security, so she isn't able to get a loan for that kind of money due to her fixed income (social security check). She owns her home and it's over 30 years old. I'm begging for help! Please help me help my mom who is so depressed and lost.
