Hi, I'm Vanessa. I moved to Costa Rica from the U.S. and yesterday I saw this puppy on the side of the road. I stopped and realized she had been hit by a car! Her hind legs are paralyzed. I took her to the vet and they confirmed she has spinal break and some other injuries.

She will need surgeries, a wheelchair, diapers, and other medical supplies. I'm still trying to find out more about what she will need as I've never encountered a paralyzed dog before. I'm asking to try to raise enough to get get some preliminary vet care, wheelchair, and put money towards surgery.

In Costa Rica, resources are scarce and there is no animal shelters that will help this baby girl, so I have to be the one to do it or she would die on the streets. I'm begging you to please help!

I'm also going to be asking for medical supplies and creating a Amazon wish list as well, but we don't have mail in Costa Rica, so I have to try to find someone willing to bring supplies from the U.S. or Canada.

Please help save a life!
