Paradisos Village Bakery
Donation protected
Two Years ago my childhood dream came true. I bought a bakery and added a café. We are the only year-round bakery within miles that does both retail and wholesale baking. We supply many area restaurants and farmer markets with breads that are fresh and preservative free. We also do a large takeout and dine in menu that includes breakfast and lunch. We also carry a variety of breads, pastries and cookies in house daily and cakes (including wedding) and pies to order.
I am asking for help to keep our doors open and for us to be able to stay open and provide our community with fresh goods that otherwise we would have to go to another county to get.
As many of you know we are a tourist town and we merchants rely on that to sustain and maintain a heathy business. This year as our business was suppose to be picking up after a very long and slow winter as the pandemic hit New York and most places had to close. Fortunately we are considered to be essential and have stayed open even though we had to lay off all our staff, (including my son) . Everyday we have fresh bread, food and Yummies. But as business is even slower then it ever has been we are struggling to keep the doors open.
This goes against my being to ask for donations to keep us going but I have to do what I have to do. This is no time to be prideful. My dream is on the line and the community seems to appreciate what we do.
We need to be able to keep up with operation expense and supplies. Although we are selling a good amount of bread our café is not doing well. We help the community when we can but this time we need your help, please.
