Paradise PD Shop With a Cop 2017

For over 30 years the Paradise Police Officer’s Association has drawn community support through donations to reach out to disadvantaged children, grades K-5, within the Paradise Unified School District. Shop with a Cop allows young people of our community to meet the "Person behind the badge" and provides an opportunity for a positive interaction with our community. Children are selected by the teachers for their hard work and dedication at school. The Officers and staff at the Paradise Police Department, Kmart, Paradise Cinema and Paradise High School Cheerleaders treat the children to a day of breakfast, shopping, popcorn and movie. The Paradise Police Officer's Association is very appreciative of the community support that is received from this event and is committed to a safe and caring community. It gives the children positive interaction with officers and it is an interaction that will last a lifetime. It is even more humbling to see the community come together year after year to make sure this program continues.
