Paradise Fire: Mattern/Vail Family

We set up this GoFundMe to support our beloved family who have been devastated by the Paradise fire. The Camp Fire has become California's most destructive fire in history, having leveled 6,713 structures. It’s still burning with it at only 5% contained. We are blessed and grateful that they all made it out alive.
We know both Jonathan and Emily's family homes were destroyed (pictured) and all factors indicate Carol's is gone too.
These 14 family members have also lost their schools, church and cars that they had to abandon while escaping the fire. We are unsure how or when they will be able to return to work given how much of the community has been destroyed.
The money raised will support these families as they start their new journey.
We, their family, are asking for anything you can give; there is no gift too small or too big. It's incredibly difficult to ask for anything, which is why we have come together to ask for support, love and prayers so that they can focus on healing and rebuilding.
