My niece lives in Paradise , left for work to Chico at 0630, skies clear . By 0830 , she heard the news of fires and tried to get up there and was stopped . Her home burned down (no rental insurance) , her doggie died in the fire , Her car burned up ... she has nothing left except the clothes on her back . She is devastated. She and her boyfriend are staying with a friend in Chico . If anyone is in the area , and has anything to help with , they could use clothes , toiletries , whatever you think could help .
