Paradise Family Needs help to Rebuild
Donation protected
On November 8, 2018 California’s most devastating fire in history tore through Paradise, CA consuming both my mom and sister’s homes along with many others.
Having worked in the wildland fire community for 13 years, my family and I have never been so personally affected by such tragedy. We are so thankful they were lucky to evacuate safely but had very little time to bring things with them beyond essential medications, minimal clothes and some photos. Both my mom and sister’s family have been displaced down in Chico, CA trying to create a new normal and restore the feeling of home and safety as much as they can.
This fund will go to help both my mom who is retired and 70 years old as well as my sister and her husband find new homes and slowly put their lives back together. Rebuilding feels overwhelming and it will take time, but with the love and kindness of community all things are possible. Any donations will be met with our deepest gratitude. Thank you.
