UPDATE: Home is gone -- North Valley Animal Disaster went to feed cats and reported home destroyed by fire.

My dear friends Lisa and Matt were able to evacuate from the deadly Paradise Camp fire with their dogs and one of their cats (sadly, two cats and a chicken couldn't be wrangled--update: chicken survived).  Matt left quickly with just the clothes on his back.
