Paradise Camp Fire - Mike Zachwieja

Our dear brother/uncle/brother-in-law/friend, Mike Zachwieja, lost everything he owns in the Paradise, California, Camp Fire. Like so many others who escaped the fire, Mike left Paradise in his car with just the clothes on his back, driving through fire and smoke to leave the town that was ultimately destroyed.

We are coming together in love and support for Mike to help him replace the essentials of life as he figures out what comes next. Sadly, we can't replace the family photos and other memorabilia that were so important to Mike, but we can reduce the stress of starting again after losing everything. 

Mike will be using these funds to pay first and last month's rent on a new apartment in addition to some immediate needs such as food, clothing, and toiletries. Mike has applied to FEMA but has not yet received any assistance from them. 

Thank you so much for supporting Mike. He is a dear, funny, loving, and caring person who has helped so many other people throughout his life. It's our honor to help Mike.
