It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to each of you for support. Paradise, California was my hometown. Many of my extended family members also lived in Paradise.

The town where I grew up has largely been reduced to ash with 85% of Paradise having been consumed by fire. A total of 154,000 acres have been burned, 14,000 homes have been destroyed, 85 people are confirmed deceased and 10 people are still missing.

For five long days many of my family members were missing after having to evacuate. Their only warning being smoke and fire. Thankfully, my family members have all been accounted for and are safe and sound.
While we are extremely grateful and lucky that everyone survived, their homes, possessions and clothing were consumed by the wild fire in less than two hours.

On behalf of my family, who have lost everything, I am asking for your support by donating to the GoFundMe page that has been established. Funds donated will be used for my family's immediate needs to rebuild:  necessities (clothing, food, housing), relocation costs, and rebuilding efforts.
