“Tofurkey” is the third film to be produced by Paradigm Productions, a collective of young emerging filmmakers in East Anglia.

Paradigm Productions is a new and vibrant collective of filmmakers, primarily based in and working in the East of England. So far in 2026, we’ve already managed to film two short films, “Last Laugh” and “Florist”, which were both made by local East of England filmmakers, graduates, students, and with the generous support of local businesses.

About “Tofurkey”:

Tofurkey follows Paul, a grumpy, stubborn butcher, who plans to surprise his son, James, with the keys to the business, but James has a confession to make… he’s gone vegan.

Writer/Director Sam Lambert describes Tofurkey as a film about “accepting your family despite their differences. While the film presents this through veganism, acceptance can come in many forms, and so I hope audiences can relate to their own experiences where their families have struggled to accept them for who they are.”

Only with your generous donations can this ambitious goal be achieved. We are doing all we can to keep our efficient shoots low cost. Your donations will be used to cover all equipment expenses, festival submission costs, props and set dressing, insurance, and to keep our talented cast and crew well fed and cared for on set.
