Beloved friends and family,
It is with great pain that I reach out to you all to inform you that our father, Yovany Martinez Lainez, has sadly passed away due to surgery complications treating his coronary artery and atrial fibrillation. Papi was an incredibly hard-working, loving, exemplary man who spent the majority of his life sacrificing himself for the love and wellbeing of his children. His ultimate dream was for his children to find their own passions and achieve financial freedom so he can go back to Honduras and retire. He spent almost 30 years without seeing his homeland and in 2021 when he finally returned for the first time, he promised himself that Honduras would be the place where he would rest from all those years of hard work.
To honor his wishes, his remaining children, Selvyn, Lexy, and Steven, humbly ask for your collaboration. We wholeheartedly want to return his remains back to his beloved country and provide him with the memorial he so well deserves.

Queridos amigos y familiares,
Con gran dolor me dirijo a todos ustedes para informarles que nuestro padre, Yovany Martínez Lainez, lamentablemente falleció debido a complicaciones en el quirófano para tratar su arteria coronaria y fibrilación auricular. Papi fue un hombre increíblemente trabajador, cariñoso y ejemplar que pasó la mayor parte de su vida sacrificándose por el amor y el bienestar de sus hijos. Su mayor sueño era que sus hijos encontraran sus propias pasiones y alcanzaran libertad financiera para poder regresar a Honduras y jubilarse. Pasó casi 30 años sin ver su tierra natal y en 2021 cuando finalmente regresó por primera vez, se prometió que Honduras sería el lugar donde descansaría de todos esos años de arduo trabajo.
Para honrar sus deseos, sus hijos, Selvyn, Lexy y Steven, piden humildemente su colaboración. Deseamos de todo corazón devolver sus restos a su amado país y brindarle el homenaje que tanto merece.
