For the past 2 years, a group of local residents and campaigners have been campaigning against James Cropper plc, a company based in Burneside, Cumbria, that is involved in making materials for Israel's warplanes.

The company has sent letters to the campaigners, accusing us of defamation.

This is a sign that the campaign is having an impact. But we need to raise money for legal costs, to respond to these threats.

James Cropper plc has a long history of making beautiful paper. We think the company should "make paper not planes", to protect jobs and protect its reputation.
