Every day, people whose education has been disrupted by conflict look for a way to keep learning. Many have had their studies interrupted, their plans paused, or their opportunities limited simply because of circumstances beyond their control.
Paper Airplanes was created to respond to that need. Through free, one-on-one virtual tutoring, learners connect with volunteers who help them strengthen their language abilities and build skills that support their education and career goals. Lessons happen online, often across continents and time zones, making learning possible even when local opportunities are out of reach.
The impact shows in students’ progress: learners gain confidence in communicating, improve their skills over time, and use what they learn to pursue education, training, or job opportunities. Every session provides consistency and support for someone rebuilding their path forward.
Paper Airplanes exists for one purpose — to make learning accessible to people affected by conflict, wherever they are.
