Papa's Prayer Warriors

As many of you know, my Papa had a bone marrow/stem cell transplant at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on June 30th. At that time, he was in the hospital for 23 days. After the transplant, he developed Acute Graft vs Host Disease, and had to be readmitted to Mayo on September 28th. He has been there ever since battling this disease, CMV, lung infections, and several other threatening issues. Today is day 88 in the hospital and his Medicare days run out on Day 90. Every day after Day 90 will cost $352.00 just for the hospital stay, not including the GvHD medication that is extremely costly ($16,000/month without insurance). He needs to go to a rehabilitation center after the hospital, but they are having trouble coordinating his major transplant meds to get him there, and the timing for Medicare is not good They have come so far and want to see this through to the end with the exact care that he needs to finish recovery this next year. Our family wants to do this for them because they are at a loss at how to move forward. For those of you that know him and love him or our family, we are asking for your help.
