To all who knew and loved Papa (Victor Iurasco),

It is with heavy hearts—but also with immense gratitude for his incredible life—that we announce the passing of our beloved Papa (Victor Iurasco). If you ever met him, even just once, you know that Papa was the kind of man whose kindness had no bounds. He was the first to offer help, the last to ask for it, being a constant source of love and support for his family.

Papa left us peacefully, surrounded by family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He built a life filled with love, leaving behind his devoted wife, Zinaida; his proud sons, Vlad and Oleg; his daughters-in-law, Diana and Nadia; and his four grandchildren—Rafael, Mateo, Julia, and Victoras—who were the absolute light of his life. (Seriously, good luck finding a man who bragged about his grandkids more than Papa did!).

Papa made the world feel brighter—whether through his infectious laughter, his endless generosity, his perfect and juicy tomatoes or his legendary love for good food. He was always curious to try new recipes and always surprised us with amazing results.

While we find comfort in knowing he is at rest, we also want to honor his memory by easing the financial burdens left behind—funeral costs, medical expenses, and supporting his wife and family as they navigate this difficult time.

Papa spent his life caring for others. Now, let’s come together to care for his family in return. Thank you for keeping his spirit alive through your kindness.
