Hello everyone, I created this Go Fund me to help out my Stepdad Jeff Norris (aka "Papa J" to Wyatt and Ethan) and my mom with the medical bills from his heart attack.

Jeff works as an Alcohol and Drug Rehab counselor in Palm Springs and it has been something he has been very passionate about for several years. The work he does is often dependant on state and government funding, as a result Medical insurance was either not a benefit given at the time or highly expensive due to an inability for the employer to share large sums of the costs. Seeing a great need for him to have some amount of health coverage my mom, Michele Arellano, decided to enroll him in California's health care program...but as life would be, Jeff had the heart attack before his policy was well in place.

My mom has not been able to work due to her own health issues and is on a fixed income. They have the usual bills, a Mortgage and Car payments that they generally just manage to afford on a regular basis.

With Jeff out of work and, soon to come, Medical Bills, they are in need of financial help. At the time I have created this, Jeff was going to be moved to a 3rd hospital where they hope to get him a treatment plan in the works. Since that could be literally anywhere in SoCal, gas for transportation for my mom to visit will become a more serious issue than it already has.
