Paolo joined our pedicab industry eight years ago and quickly became a member of the community. With his history as a world-class figure skater, he took naturally to the hard work and the rush of twisting through crowds. A sports car enthusiast, he used his engineering skills to design his own custom cab. Like many of us, Paolo wasn't just here to make money--he was doing what he loved.

Sadly, while he was riding his pedicab on Sunday October 15th, a car ran a stop sign and struck Paolo. He was rushed to the hospital and placed in intensive care, but his injuries were too severe; he passed away Monday morning.

Paolo is survived by his wife, Hilary, and his two children, Gianni and Tessla. Whether you're a pedicab driver, a friend, or just a fellow human being that came across this fundraiser, they could use your support.
