Hey there! We are a crew of Cardiff-based film students, currently completing our masters in Film at the University of South Wales. We are currently looking for funding for our next short film - PANTO

Join Panto, a mime performer, on his journey through a park to meet the girl of his dreams, and the misfortunes he encounters along the way.

Synopsis - Panto is a timid but well-intended mime artist who wishes to be accepted and taken seriously by his community. When a wishing well grants him the magical power to make his invisible environment come to life, he tries to prove his worth by taking down bullies and showing off to strangers in the park. Panto will learn that it’s not his powers that give him purpose, but the respect and connection from the people who love him for who he is.

In this homage to the silent era of cinema, this romantic comedy will follow the misadventures of a mime and his journey of falling in love and doing the right thing, while exploring the themes of human connection and self acceptance.
