East Windsor Panthers Take Back JV Sports

As a result of recent budget cuts, our local high school has lost its junior varsity athletic program and we are DEVASTATED. Families throughout our community are suffering the loss and anticipating a very challenging upcoming year with no way to fund the programs and no time to put together a, “pay to participate” plan before a critical august 1st deadline.  


We have toiled to get the Board of Education to vote that they would accept this amazing donation from private citizens in the community. Tonight, we finally got our hail Mary! 


They will accept our donations and with it, any of our current JV sports that have enough players to field a team will get to keep playing! This is a huge move and now WE NEED YOUR HELP.  In order to support each team, we must meet our goal.




If there is any part of you that knows and understands the impact of high school sports on our youth, especially in the vulnerable early teen years, we are asking for your generosity in giving. 

Perseverance, humility, courage, and integrity are just a few of the things students walk away with and they are utterly priceless. The opportunities for our sons and daughters to have a brotherhood or sisterhood is vital. To have a safe place among peers and coaches who mentor them is something they truly need. With increases in drug use, mental health disorders, and behavioral disorders, we must come together to protect them. We need to provide them with what may be the only means of expressing their aggression in a passionate and positive way. We will lose kids long before they get the satisfaction and pride of making varsity.


We know that in terms of college, we will be playing with a handicap. For some, athletics will be the only extracurricular on their application and that is factored heavily by admissions officers in the selection process. We also know that JV is development for varsity competition, without JV, we cannot have a healthy varsity program. This need here is VITAL and it will serve so many of East Windsors sons and daughters.


The sports team is the first and last great frontier in civil unity. A rare place in a divisive world, where all members use their unique differences to achieve a common goal. It is an american tradition and rallying place for communities everywhere. It represents the dreams and achievement so many of us can recall. Please help us show the students and the whole community how much this matters!
