Hi, my name's Panther! I'm a 6 yr old, mixed breed pup. Some say, "she's the sweetest four-legged you'll ever meet". I like to give lots of kisses, chew tons of boneth, wag my tail and am very gentle. Recently, i've had a scary time. In and out of those big dog houses (where humans live i think) bein poked and prodded, samples and pictures taken. They use big words. I don't really like those places, although everyone is very nice to me and say I'm most brave and so very pretty. They told my Wolf Momma i have Lung lobe torsion (LLT). A rare, life-threatening condition that occurs when a lung lobe twists on its pedicle. This can obstruct blood vessels and lead to tissue death. I heard them say "twisted lung".

The specialized critical medical care and possible surgical can range from $5, 000, to fix medically, to (possibly) $12,000 to fix surgically- according to all veterinary professionals involved. That's a lot of bones, geeth. The hope is I can be saved with specialized in-patient medical care vs needing surgery. I am still healthy, otherwise, but will need the next level of critical care to survive.

I'm writing this because my Momma has done everything she possibly can do to care for me- from multiple vet visits, to the emergency vets, home from work and up all night. Now she needs a little help from her friends to afford this next step.

I really want to live because i have so much more love to give everybody.... And boneth, to chew, and Jeep rides, to have, furs in the winds.
