Panks family recovery fund

On Sunday August 4,2019 there was a tragic accident that occurred in Harrison County Mississippi. This accident claimed the life of a hero, Corporal Jonathan Panks of the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office. In the vehicle with Jonathan were three other wonderful men, including his brother, Jared Panks. While Jared, and the two other men lives were spared, the aftermath was not. Not only is Jonathan and jared’s Mother having to deal with the tragedy of losing her son, she is also faced with the hardships of keeping herself together and supporting Jared while he still remains in the hospital. Nothing no parent should ever have to face. 

Jared suffered from numerous broken bones after the collision. He had two surgeries on his lower left leg, just hours after the accident. Two days later he had surgery on his right leg and right arm. He will need another surgery on his left leg, and then he will hopefully be able to be transferred to a facility, closer to home, where he can be cared for around the clock. Once he is healed enough, he will start his long journey of rehabilitation. However, he won’t be able to start putting any weight on his injuries for at least 3 months.

I am asking, from the bottom of my heart, for the communities assistance of taking this huge mental burden of having to worry about finances while the family deals with this tragedy. Mrs. Panks needs our help without having to worry about how she’s going to pay for anything, including bills and food, while she misses work to take care of her children. Anything helps.
