My name is Jessica Gilroy and I am a small business owner. Like most restaurants right now, my future is uncertain. Right now I am fighting to keep these doors open because my heart and soul is in this restaurant. Pangea is all I have. There have been so many people to help me on this journey and I feel like I will be letting those people down if I throw in the towel. I want to keep fighting, and cooking, and seeing the community and customers I love. I am trying to get government aid, but I am afraid by the time I see anything it will be too late. Some of the New Town community has already helped me in ways that’s has brought me to tears (and there have been a lot of those lately, ones of joy and of fear). I was never in this business to get rich, I have always said if I can pay my staff, keep the lights on, and cook that I would be happy, and that is still the truth. Please help if you can, I have a staff that is counting on me to succeed. I would not be starting this GoFundMe if it was not necessary. I know times are hard for everyone right now, so if you can not donate, IT IS OKAY! Just know no matter what happens I will keep fighting until the very end.
