Pando's "Move In" Loan

No Charity, Just a Temporary Loan Solve the Homelessness

When everything went south in Los Angeles, several close friends urged me to open a GoFundMe campaign..naturally, I resisted. One part pride (I am insanely independent) and another part feeling that without a goal, or an end game; asking people for help without knowing where I was going to live or where I was going to work seemed selfish and irresponsible.

I want to thank Jay & Maya, Alicia and Jamie for giving me a couch to crash on when no one in Los Angeles would. The help came from some of the least likely people I would expect to help and I will never forgot what you have done for me.

Now it's time for me to get back on my feet. I have come full circle and returned to Fort Lauderdale, the best place as it seems for my skin disorder. At the moment, there are conversations in support of returning to my previous place of employment. And I have found a renter that is willing to let me move into a one bedroom with a partial payment. However, the cross country excursion has left me broke and penniless.

I am asking for a loan, not a charity donation. Because in a few months, I will have the money to pay back everyone who participates. For this reason, I am only asking for the minimum that I need to get my life back together.

The money will go towards:

- Moving in fees associated with acquiring a place of my own in February.

- Salvaging my belongings in storage, which just a few days ago entered into a state of auction. If I don't pay their fees in 30 days, I lose everything in my unit.

- Medicine for my skin disorder that is a bit out of control at the moment due to the stressful nature of my uncertain future.

Asking for help is the hardest thing for me to do. I will be forever in the debt of anyone that could help. And please, allow me to pay you back.
