Pandora's Celebration of Life
Donation protected
It is with the heaviest heart that I ask for your generosity to support my sister and our family in this incredibly impossible time. The Wednesday night before Thanksgiving my niece Pandora rode her bicycle to the gas station, on the way home she fell and hit her head hard. We do not know much about the circumstances of the how, when, and why. We do know that after she fell, she got up and rode the bicycle home, she told her partner she fell, said she was ok and refused to go to the ER to be checked out. She went to sleep and never woke. Thanksgiving morning her partner and my sister tried everything they could to wake her. When they could not, they called an ambulance, from there she was rushed into surgery for a very serious brain bleed, she had two strokes, and they found her brain stem and left side of her brain had been severely damaged. On Monday they gave us the unfortunate news; our sweet baby girl will never come back to us. Pandora just celebrated her 24th birthday. She's a PROUD member of the LGBTQ+ community. She has the gentlest soul you'd ever meet with a fire and passion for life, and everything & everyone in it. She’d never met a stranger. You could see that by the enormous amounts of friends, family, “adopted” family and love that’s poured in since her accident. Even now (respecting her wishes and what she wanted) at the end of her vibrant and beautiful life she gives life to those she’ll never meet. Any money collected will be used to support the family as we navigate through these rough times. Funds will help to replace lost wages, costs incurred with multiple hospital associated costs (parking, sustenance, et al), and memorializing Pan in the ways she deserves.
