Our dear friends Julia and Kabeer need our help in order to provide the best care for their fur baby, Charlie. Please read Charlie's story below:

"On Monday afternoon, Charlie was playing in our backyard with Josie and somehow became paralyzed waist down. She has been inpatient in Minneapolis as doctors have tried to figure out what happened and as we've tried to wrap our heads around what's to come and what this means for her pup life. Her prognosis is unclear (working diagnoses of FCE- fibrocartilaginous embolism or noncompressive intervertebral disc disease) but we are remaining hopeful for a Christmas miracle and are really happy to have her home to start the long road of rehab to a potential recovery. "

We are not yet sure of Charlie's long term prognosis. Her correct diagnosis and treatment planning is requiring many expensive scans and tests, and there is the possibility that Charlie may need external supports to be mobile again. Please help us in supporting these two amazing people who give so much back to their community and to their friends and families. Any contribution helps this young family provide the care that Charlie needs while staying on their feet financially.
