Help Us Avoid Eviction!

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amanda. Most people probably know me as Panda!

It’s a difficult decision, but I’m making this fundraiser to help me and my house-mates avoid eviction.

We received the notice on September 16th at 10:40 AM. We are two months behind on rent because of car-related debt and two hospitalizations. We simply haven’t had the ability to make these funds on time.

We have until Tuesday September 23rd to pay the amount of $3,858.29** (edit: I mixed up 8 and 5) and avoid eviction. We have about $1,000, and are actively looking at organizations and programs for support, but our timeline is very short.
We also just rescued another friend (not pictured) from a DV situation just a few weeks ago, so our resources are even slimmer than before.

We will be using the funds from this campaign to pay off our overdue rent! If we manage to raise more than what we need, the rest will be going towards October’s rent which is in less than 3 weeks from now.
We are extremely thankful for everyone’s help!

Here is a bit more about each of us and our stories!

Panda (she/her)
I’m a retired streamer and forcibly retired digital artist. I moved out of my family home in May in order to find better support for my mental health. During the move I was forced to close my side businesses (Etsy and Art Commissions). Not long after securing a part-time job, I lost everything on my computer, and was also actively learning how to drive. I voluntarily hospitalized myself for a failed attempt, lost my job, got out and committed to getting better by focusing on my mental health. I was originally supplementing our household’s grocery budget with my mom’s help. Very recently, I had to cut off my mom due to years of emotional neglect/abuse with no accountability from her end.
Besides applying for jobs, regularly going to therapy, and doing chores around the house, I am left with no other way to help support myself or my friends in this moment.
I really want to be able to rebuild and maintain my life away from my family. My friends are my only support circle right now, and I would hate to lose the opportunity to keep living with them.

Doll (he/they)
I’m a full-time employee at a big retail store and a part-time college student who moved out from living with my ex in Fort Myers to the house my friends and I have made a home <3.
Shortly after the move, my car had gone through some damage and is at a family mechanic’s shop down in Naples (where it has been for months). In order to get my car back, I must pay the service fees for my car. On top of that, I’d gotten behind on car payments and, as of recently, car insurance payments! Both of these total over $800 in monthly expenses, not including the car repair cost. My roommates also helped me rescue a friend from NC in a domestic abuse situation just two weeks ago.
I bring in the most money in my household, however I also have the highest debts and financial obligations.

Living here has impacted us all greatly in a positive way; I hope you’d be willing to let us find our best selves in this space <3

Cora (she/they)
I’m a part-time employee in the beauty industry and have always had a passion for hair and makeup.
I’ve known Doll for almost six years now and made the decision to move down from South Carolina in a heartbeat!
Living in Florida has been a big adjustment, not always the best one, but living with my friends has been a net positive in my book. I’m just a hard worker looking to help my community and make ends meet at the end of the day. And also feed my two cat sons :3
