Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, I have been very involved in the autism community in West Africa for over 10 years. It's been my passion, both personally and professionally, and I could not be more proud of all the growing grassroots movements taking place on the continent.

In 2020, Ghana will be the host to the Pan-African Congress on Autism. This conference will bring together the autism community from across the continent, with representatives from the vast majority of African countries. Recently, I have had the honor of being brought on as a partner organization, event planning committee member and featured speaker. However, in order to attend the event, there are many costs associated!

I am raising money in order to pay for my travel expenses to this historic event. A flight from Detroit to Accra typically costs around $1600 plus $150 for the entry visa. Any money raised above this amount will go directly to Ghanaian teacher scholarships, in an effort to help others attend the conference as well. My goal is to be able to cover the full cost of registration for at least 10 local teachers.
