Pam’s fight and success against cancer.
Donation protected
Update: Mom started treatment today 1/21. Unfortunately, the type of treatment doesn't allow for the cold cap, as she would need to wear it non-stop for multiple days. So thank you to everyone who has donated towards the medical bills so far. Since the new year rolled around, the deductibles need to be paid again. Once again, thank you all!
My mom, Pam, has been a warrior battling cancer since its initial discovery in 2020. She’s had multiple rounds of chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy in 2020, 2022 and 2023. Unfairly, after a recent scan, it was noted that the once effective immunotherapy treatment is no longer doing its job. She will need another surgery for biopsy, another round of chemo and radiation to continue keeping the cancer contained. This means more medical bills and more mental exhaustion. We would also love to be able to fund a cold cap for her this round, since she has already been through the emotional trauma of losing her hair during the second round of chemo. Anyone who has fought this meaningless disease knows how the costs can escalate, especially in today’s insurance companies' world. She will start the next round of treatment in two weeks. The cost of the cold cap alone can reach upwards of $3000, which her insurance will not cover. We appreciate the consideration and any assistance anyone can provide. She’s always been there for our family and friends when we needed her, now it’s time to return the favor in any way we can.
