Pam’s Angels: Beating Cancer Together
Donation protected
Dear friends, neighbors, and kind-hearted supporters,
My name is Sean, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart — but also with hope.
My mom, Pam, is more than just my mother. She’s a cornerstone of every community she’s been part of — from Rowayton, CT, to Virginia Beach, VA, to her lifelong friendships in Wallingford. She’s someone who quietly and consistently lifts others up, often without anyone knowing. And now, she’s facing one of the hardest fights of her life: an unexpected and aggressive form of cancer affecting her blood and spine.
For years, Pam has been the steady presence behind school fundraisers, church events, neighborhood drives, and countless acts of kindness. In Rowayton, she was known for her warm smile and willingness to help without ever needing thanks. In Virginia Beach, she became a trusted friend, a compassionate listener, and someone who always showed up for others. And her roots in Wallingford run deep — with lifelong friends who know that Pam has always been the one to answer a call for help or simply offer a comforting word.
Now she needs us.
Her diagnosis came as a complete shock. One moment, she was going about her daily life with her usual strength and spirit, and the next we were facing difficult questions, unclear answers, and the daunting road ahead. While the full extent of the cancer and treatment needs are still being determined, we are preparing for an aggressive treatment plan involving specialists, tests, and potentially long-term care. She is suffering from multiple fractured vertebrae in her spine due to the cancer, and it has been discovered in her blood as well.
The emotional toll is heavy — and so is the financial one. From mounting medical expenses and out-of-pocket procedures to travel for consultations and medications not fully covered by insurance, the costs are growing quickly. As a family, we are doing everything we can — but we can’t do it alone.
That’s why I’m turning to you — to the people Pam has touched across every chapter of her life — to help us lift her up during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to securing the care she deserves and giving her the best chance at healing.
If Pam has ever touched your life — or if her story touches your heart — please consider donating or sharing this campaign. Your support means everything right now.
My mother has spent her life showing up for others. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
With gratitude and hope,
Sean
