Hi everyone, my name is Pamela. In August 2025 my life took an unexpected and difficult turn, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). For those unfamiliar, this is an aggressive and fast-growing form of breast cancer. Unlike other types, TNBC lacks the three most common receptors (estrogen, progesterone, and HER2) that doctors usually "target" with hormone therapy. Because of this, my treatment plan has to be much more intensive.

To stay ahead of this, I am currently undergoing weekly treatments. These sessions are physically exhausting, but they are my best shot at shrinking the tumor and clearing the way for the next big step.

The goal of my current weekly rounds is to prepare my body for surgery in March. This will be a major procedure and a significant turning point in my recovery. While I am staying positive and focused on my health, the reality of the financial side has become a heavy burden.

Between the weekly co-pays, specialized medications, and the upcoming costs of a hospital stay and surgical recovery, the medical bills are ascending quickly.
