Hi, my name is Gena Foster, daughter of Renee Hamrick. She had been fighting cancer for more than 3 years and subcomed to complications on Tuesday September 19th, 2023. This has been a trying and difficult time for our family. While there was a life insurance policy, due to recent rises in cost for funeral services; we are unable to cover the expenses for a headstone. All proceeds will be directly applied to the purchase and installation of my mom' s headstone. Should there be any unused funds, these will be donated to cancer research. We have been researching multiple headstone retailers. Some good news is that we have located a better price range, so we have lowered the goal from $13,000.00 down to $7,500.00.
