Pamela Greenwood-Vera (Lahaina Fire)

Hi, our names are Kerri Jenkins and Robyn Swart.

We know you’ve all heard about the devastating fires in Lahaina, Maui, and the thousands of people who have had their lives turned upside down. Our dear friend, Pamela Greenwood-Vera, who has lived in Maui for almost 30 years, is one of those affected. Thankfully, she and her family were all able to make it safely out of Lahaina to the other side of the island. Pam’s home is one that survived the fire but she is unsure if she will be allowed to stay in her home as she is very near the main burn zone and the residents are being told the conditions are toxic. Pam has been self-employed for years and her business is dependent upon many other businesses that operate in Lahaina. Sadly, it looks like more than half of her client’s businesses will not survive in the aftermath of the fires, which means Pam will be severely impacted as well. This, in addition to the possibility of having to leave her current home of over 13 years, are weighing heavily on her personal financial situation and she could really use help. We know so many people have asked how they could help and so we wanted to provide a way for people to show their love and support as Pamela and her family face the long road of uncertainty that lies ahead. If you know Pam, you know she is doing everything she can to help her friends and neighbors, but the truth is that she could really use your help as well. All funds will go directly to Pamela and will be used to help support her as she moves forward after the fire. As time goes by and the extent of the devastation is realized, people are only just beginning to process the difficulties that lie ahead. Pray for Pamela and pray for the people of Maui.
