On behalf of the CLASS OF 1998 we are humbly asking for donations for our classmate and dear friend, Pamela Gallegos, to help with medical expenses.
Here is her story:
She was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer HER2 + on 9/5/2020. The disease had moved to other parts of her body, mainly in her bones. Talk about having pain, what she is going through must be horrible! She was told there is no cure, but the disease can be managed with oral chemo along with other treatments. Treatments worked and kept the disease at bay until Oct of 2022. She noticed she was having difficulty swallowing. Unfortunately, the cancer was back and had now spread to her esophagus, and the disease changed once again. Pam was now diagnosed with Triple Positive HR+ HER2 3+ breast cancer. Oral chemo was no longer effective, and she is now undergoing IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy. 6 rounds of chemotherapy need to be done and immunotherapy for the rest of her life.
This mother of four continues to fight through the pain of this horrible disease to be here for her children. She is a true inspiration not only to her children but to us, her classmates.
If you aren’t unable to donate, we humbly ask that you keep her in your prayers.
Thank you in advance
