My dear friend of 47 years, Pam Vach-Flanary, didn’t expect to have open heart surgery on her 60th birthday, but here she is scheduled for surgery just a week after her birthday. In addition to having a new valve inserted, the surgeons are repairing an aneurysm discovered about a year ago. For those of you who know Pam and are blessed to be her friend or coworker, you know she would be the first person to help others in this situation. She now needs our help as she recently started a new job about seven months ago and she doesn’t have enough sick-leave to cover her convalescent time away from her job. She will also need help paying co-pays associated with this expensive surgery. Please consider donating so that she can recover without the stress of expenses piling up.
