Eight Days ago, my friend Farmer Pam lost everything in a fire that she narrowly escaped. Some of her beloved kitties perished in the blaze. While many of you have been kind, dropping off food and donations, she was underinsured and literally has nothing left. Widowed last summer and recovering from recent knee replacement surgery, she is overwhelmed and exhausted. This fire claimed her living quarters, her business including all her fresh vegetables for sale, and her truck. Right now insurance is offering to pay about 20-25% of the cost to raze and dispose of the building. If you can contribute anything at all, or at least share this so her other friends see it, I’d be deeply grateful.
