Pam Johnson is a hard working, wonderful mother of an adult son, 16 year old twin children and a beautiful daughter of 18 months who went to be with the Lord way too soon. Pam has given over thirty years of her life to her community as a Registered Nurse, working in Baylor of Dallas Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall, TX as an emergency room and surgical nurse.
But this past December, she learned that she would now have to depend on others in the medical field to care for her. Pam began feeling bad and was unable to eat food without difficulties and sought out medical advice. An MRI revealed that Pam has a rare and very aggressive cancerous tumor on her Bile Ducts named a Klatskins Tumor. The size of the tumor has caused a blockage to the Bile Ducts, preventing her liver from working properly, resulting in multiple medical complications. Pam has gone through five medical procedures in attempt to open up the Bile Ducts, with very little success. Pam has been forced to stay overnight in the hospital for many days over the past two months.
The surgical goal is to remove the cancerous tumor along with several lymph nodes and almost 3/4th of her liver. The road ahead is long and has been and will be filled with many difficulties and struggles. Pam has faith in the medical profession, her family, friends and most importantly, in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that will carry her through this trial in her life.
Unfortunately, she has been unable to work in two months nor adequately care for her twin children. Pam would never want to ask anyone for financial help or burden anyone, that is why I am reaching out for her. The medical bills have steadily increased along with all the standard cost of living bills. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let us help a beautiful, kind- hearted women, who has spent her lifetime serving others.
