It is with a heavy heart we create this account. Our mother very unexpectedly received her wings this Thursday. Anyone who knew my mother knew that she radiated genuine love for everyone around her even in her darkest hours. She was a vibrant and beautiful woman with a heart of gold. She raised two very strong children that she doted on every chance she could. She was creative though she down played her abilities often. She accepted people as they came and never held judgement. As her child we never questioned if we were loved or accepted. We always knew our mother was our biggest fan. She had many children “from other mothers” as she would put it. She felt that everyone deserved to feel unconditionally loved. She was a soldier and a fighter until the very end. She was our best friend and hero. She loved her family without fail and stood to fight for them even when she felt her legs had no more strength. Her grandchildren were her universe and the light up her life. She touched so many lives during her time here on this earth and we would love to give her back the same honor she gave others at this time. Though we had little conversation about arrangements and things we sadly never finalized anything. Her most important request was to be cremated and put next to my Pops for all time. We would also like to be able to honor her life with a small celebration because her time on this earth was such a gift to so many. We know these are hard times for everyone but anything contributed will be greatly appreciated and used to give my mother, a true angel, the see you later she deserves.
