Paloma’s post-coma recovery fund

on July 20th at around 11 pm Paloma took Stella for a walk and never made it home. They were struck by a drunk driver near our apartment in North Park. Our sweet Stella girl was taken to an emergency vet, but passed away from her injuries. Paloma was rushed to the ICU where she fell into a coma from head trauma, and suffers from a broken leg and fractured arm. She is physically responsive to my voice which is a very good sign, but we have a long long road ahead of us when she wakes up.

All donations will go towards many different things: Paloma’s medical bills (even after insurance,) Flying her mother Cathy out from Indiana, Stella’s cremation, PLENTY of legal bills in the fight against the man who hit her, her rent & other bills that will need to be taken care of during her recovery, and anything else that will contribute to making her life as easy and comfortable as possible in this extremely heartbreaking and traumatic time.

Paloma is one of my best friends and truly a light in everyone’s life that has the privilege of knowing her. To know Paloma, is to love her. Please show her some love right now when she needs it most.
