Paloma goes to Washington (DC)!

Paloma was one of a few students from Hidalgo County invited to attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference from June 18th to the 23rd. The conference will include developing leadership skills through hands-on experience including public speaking exercises, visiting historical sites, and touring Capitol Hill. She will also be grouped with other attendees and tasked with working on solutions to problems in today's society.

Paloma intends to bring back the skills she learns and apply them locally throughout her years in middle school and high school. Once she's off to college only the sky will be the limit and you can say that you were there when we saw her take off.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her and would appreciate the support to help cover the expense of tuition and travel. Whatever amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated by Paloma and her family.
