To all my friends and anyone that would like to please, please contribute to helping Toni, Leah (her sister) and her grandchildren in this very hard time of need.
I know Toni and her family and they wouldn’t ask after spending 2 yrs with them I have seen that they would always give then ask for help.
Toni and her family have decided to pull care of their Mom (Paula) after 14 days of hoping and praying for a miracle in the ICU.
Mom was suddenly struck with a massive stroke putting her in a coma with no response since.
While in the ICU she fought very hard but just couldn’t push anymore.
Mom had fought cancer and a bowel dissection not too long ago and won and even with COPD she was a very vibrant woman.
Mom had this way of always making you laugh. She would give you that motherly face and you knew she meant it.
She loved her 50’s songs and would always be singing while making her daily tea.
She loved to dance. She had this thing of naming any movie, show or actor by just hearing a brief clip of the show or movie.
Mom loved being on the water and would always love to just see and hear nature.
She was a woman of strength and willing to always make sure you were taken care of.
Toni has been laid off. Toni has had her mom living with her for many years.
Their Mom/Nana has been their Rock, Mother and Best friend in any situation.
Mom has always been there to have a great meal or breakfast with and always make you laugh.
You had to just stop and listen to her make jokes or tell Incredible stories.
Toni will be completely heart broken and have that urge to hear her moms voice or feel her hug nightly as she would make her way upstairs to her room while carrying her tea.
Those times will be dearly missed and never forgotten to this family but especially Toni.
So I can’t ask you enough to Please help this family with their moms arrangements but also to please help Toni in her time of need since she is trying to be the support person of the family as always yet doing so without a job.
Losing a family member is a very hard thing but also losing your Rock, your Mother and your Best friend is the hardest thing in the world to cope with.
